IT'S A NEW YEAR!

TIME MARCHES ON...A NEW YEAR IS HERE!
I hope you’ll have every reason to dance...
the whole year through!

Just a "few" vintage clocks I have around my home...

and I'm still collecting!

This old Big Ben is my very favorite...
it belonged to my Grandpa Johnson...
it woke him up every morning for years.

This is my newest clock...a Burpee Seed Clock...
it tells you when to plant seeds & bulbs.

HAVE A BLESSED 2008!

May the new year bring you may times to dance and celebrate and few times to to feel anything less than joy!
When I see a clock at the flea markets, I will think of you.

Hello Dee, and thank you so much for coming by my blog and especially for commenting. I'd never have met you, if you had not left a comment. :-))))

You follow HS football! Oh wow!!!!! Why Oh wow? Because we had 2 sons who loved HS football. One was quarterback and the other was center. The later also played the line... both ways. It was a tiny Private Catholic School and not many boys attended. Plus, the Basketball Program was all-the-rage then, so boys and their parents didn't want to "take the chance" of being hurt in Football.

So.... At that time, the Football was a total act of love for the sport. And love it, they did. And love it, we did. Naturally my husband was working during some games but I never missed. Even driving by myself, behind the bus. -giggles- Memories.

Sorry to have rattled on so, here. But you taped on my door of memories and I.... rattled on. :-)

P.S. Instead of making this comment, a huge long one, I'll comment in other of your entries.
