He was not a drug addict or an illicit user. Situations like this can happen to anyone who makes irresponsible choices. If a lesson is not learned from Nick's mistake...we will surely see one of his friends make the same fatal mistake.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The best way to honor Nick is by being mature enough, and strong enough, to stay away from things you know are not right and helping influence someone else who may be considering it as well. THINK before you act...it only takes a split second and a life is gone.</span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> Nick would do anything for any of his friends...including laying down his life for you...and that's what he did. He made the mistake for you...don't let his death be in vain...make his death count for your life! </span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">We have a wonderful peace in our hearts that Nick is in heaven with his Grandpa Vern. We know that Nick had time to text a friend to tell him he was feeling weird...so we know he had time to call out the "Name of Jesus" and ask forgiveness.<br /><br /></span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">It's so hard to believe I will never see his smile again or hear his voice...he always came walking in the door with a big smile...a loud "hi Gram-D"...followed by a big hug. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">You will always have a place tucked inside my heart, "Nickenness"...Love you bunches! I did not even realize I kept shooting during the whole chase until I went to download my pictures later in the day. We had to run from our motor home the police were afraid the truck would explode…and it did! That river is BIG and WIDE! Don’t miss Beale Street in Memphis when you are there! They close down Beale Street on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and you can hear the blues everywhere! Best place for food and blues on Beale Street? We needed a little work done on our RV…so back to the factory we went. <a href="http://www.tiffinmotorhomes.com/abouttiffin/heritage.php">http://www.tiffinmotorhomes.com/abouttiffin/heritage.php</a> While work is being done on our RV…we stay in the Allegro RV Park for free! So we have been here almost a week. We travel here and there to “Star Parties”…dragging our 12” Meade telescope (it takes two people to set it up...it weighs 75 pounds) wherever we go…staying up until the wee hours of the morning…just to view the night skies.<br /><br />While watching the daytime skies…whenever both sun and clouds are in the sky, be sure to look up…you may see something absolutely amazing! Ice Rings or Halos…whatever you want to call them…technical name: <em>Parhelic Circles</em>…way to technical for me!<br /><br />These photos were taken a couple of years ago at the Shingletown Star Party in Northern California.
